I make an Everyday Green smoothie in my nutribullet. The ingredients vary depending on what I have in my fridge but my staples are fairly consistent. This is my go-to recipe for my green breakfast smoothie:
- Kale: handful
- Spinach: handful
- Banana: 1- 1.5
- Blueberries: handful
- Chia seeds 1-2 Tbs
- Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk (or regular cashew milk for added creaminess): 3/4 cup
If I am feeling fancy I'll add 1/2 a scoop of Vega Sport or Vega One protein powder, although this stuff is pricy so I don't use it every day.
For a heartier smoothie / an added boost of energy add 3/4 a scoop of Vega Sport chocolate protein + 2Tbsps peanut butter.
If you want to impress people with your beautiful smoothie, omit the blueberries. Without them, the smoothie remains vibrantly green after blending. Add the blueberries and your health-goddess shake comes out looking like brownish-black sludge. But blueberries are awesome so I usually stick ’em anyway.
