I am sure that many of us know that Apple Lasagna sounds much strange. Isn’t it? Ok. This is a great recipe that you will not believe until you make it. And can say that, if you have tried in the past then it have become the most favorite dessert or snack for your family. Maybe you are smiling. - Lasagna Noodles: 12 Layers
- Apple Pie filling: 2 (21-ounce) cans
- Shredded Cheddar Cheese: 2 cups (8 ounces)
- Ricotta cheese: 1 cup
- All-purpose flour: 6 tablespoons
- Ground cinnamon: 1/2 teaspoon
- Beaten egg: 1
- Quick oats: 1/4 cup
- Granulated sugar: 1/4 cup
- Butter: 3 tablespoons
- Brown sugar: 6 tablespoons
- Dash of ground nutmeg
In 350 degrees F. preheat your oven and cook noodles to desired doneness in a large pot of boiling salted water; drain and put sideways.
Coat with cooking spray in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish. And add 4 layers of noodles on the bottom of prepared dish. Now simply spread 1 can of apple pie filling on top and slicing any additional chunky apples. And then add 4 layers of noodles over the apples.
Now need to mix in the Cheddar cheese, egg, ricotta cheese and granulated sugar together in a large bowl. Then spread that mixer over the noodles and top with the remaining 4 layers noodles. Spoon over the remaining 1 can of apple pie filling over noodles.
Mix together in a small bowl the flour, margarine, cinnamon, quick oats and brown sugar. And simply sprinkle over the apple filling and bake for 45 minutes.
Now need to wait for 15 minutes then slice into pieces and serve when it warm or cold.
